What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair reduction is a medical procedure that uses concentrated beams of light to target and destroy hair follicles, prohibiting their ability to produce new hair growth. How does it work?
The Elysion is a medical grade diode laser which uses optimum wavelengths of light to deliver heat energy to the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding skin.

These light beams are absorbed by the pigment (melanin) present in the hair follicles, which eventually damages and disables the hair follicles permanently, without causing harm to the surrounding skin.
Over the next 7-10 days post treatment the hair will simply fall out leaving the skin smooth and hair free until the next phase of hair growth appears 6-8 weeks later.

Your Treatment Plan
Initially, you will require a consultation to explain the treatment in detail and to assess your suitability.

I will cover a complete medical questionnaire and provide you with all the relevant information needed, including very clear costing and pre and post treatment instruction and advice, to ensure you are comfortable proceeding with treatment.

Once a thorough consultation has been carried out, I will perform a Patch Test to ensure no adverse reaction. You may then begin your first session 48 hours following a successful Patch Test.

Each session will be spaced approximately 4-6 weeks apart with a minimum of 6/8 sessions generally required. Some people may require more maintenance treatments however, this can be advised during your consultation.
