What Can You Expect from Laser Tattoo Removal?

During the laser tattoo removal process, highly concentrated laser beams are targeted at the tattooed area. These laser beams are specifically designed to target and fragment the tattoo pigments trapped within the skin.

As the laser energy interacts with the ink, the pigments are shattered and fragmented into smaller particles.

Over time, the body's immune system recognises these fragmented particles as foreign substances, they are therefore gradually eliminated by your body's natural processes.

The advanced laser technology allows for the customisation of treatments for each client, optimising results while minimising post-treatment discomfort and downtime.

How many Sessions are Required?

Tattoo removal requires tremendous patience as the number of sessions can vary significantly, contingent upon various factors such as the size, color, age, and location of the tattoo, as well as individual skin type and overall health.

On average, sessions vary between 6 -10 Sessions, each spaced at 8 -12 weeks intervals however, this is something that will be discussed during your initial consultation to establish a realistic treatment plan.

Is the Procedure Painful?

I understand that tattoo removal and the discomfort that may come with it can be a concern for many individuals.

While the process typically does involve some level of pain/discomfort, it's important to note that advancements in technology and the availability of numbing creams have helped minimise the pain.

Rest assured, I strive to provide a comfortable and effective tattoo removal experience.

That said, many claim that the procedure is less uncomfortable than initially anticipated, with the general sensation comparable to that of having the tattoo applied. A common description includes the sensation of a rubber band snapping against the skin – in conclusion, the procedure can be uncomfortable yet bearable.

Fading of Unwanted Tattoo's:

I understand that sometimes clients may not desire an entirely fresh canvas but rather the ability to undergo a cover-up tattoo with more options for artistic freedom.

That's why I offer the option to fade existing tattoos. By opting for laser tattoo removal, clients can significantly lighten their existing tattoo, making it easier for a cover-up tattoo to be applied seamlessly without design limitations.
