What are Vascular Lesions and how can they be treated?
Vascular Lesions (also referred to as thread veins, spider veins, broken blood vessels, broken veins or capillary veins), are small red, blue or purple veins that typically appear near the surface of the skin on the thighs, calves and ankles and face. They are completely harmless, but can often result in feeling self-conscious.​
Upon precise application of laser, the red blood cells within the vascular lesions, absorb the laser energy, causing the blood within the vein to coagulate. As a result, damaging the wall of the vein, causing the vein to close down and be naturally absorbed by the body.
